Data promise
What this site collects.
No cookies, no third-party scripts, no accounts. We collect a small set of anonymous behavioral events to learn whether these pages actually work.
Theme preference
If you switch between light and dark appearance, the site stores only that preference in your browser’s local storage. It is not attached to event data, sent to the server, or used to identify you. Clearing site data resets it to your system preference.
What we collect
- a coarse acquisition channel such as Google, Bing, ChatGPT, another named AI service, social, internal, direct, or another external reference;
- for the first audience study, an anonymous fixed batch label such as
core_30that contains no participant number or contact detail; - that a page was opened;
- that you submitted a judgment, reached the reveal, or finished a rerun;
- that you copied a challenge or reference link, and the work context you selected;
- that a shared reference link brought a new session back to the site.
Each event carries a random session id generated in session storage. It resets when you close the browser. It is not a cookie and cannot follow you across sites, devices, or browser sessions.
The acquisition channel is classified in your browser from an allow-listed hostname or an official source tag. The full referring URL, path, query, and search terms are not sent or stored.
What we do not collect
- No names, email addresses, accounts, free text, keystroke recordings, advertising pixels or browser fingerprints.
- No full IP address, precise location, or raw user-agent string is written to the event dataset.
- No event data is sold, combined with outside profiles, or used for advertising.
Why we collect anything
This site is testing whether a cognitive experience can become a reference people bring into real work. Completion, clearly separated sharing intent, and anonymous referred visits answer that question without identifying the visitor.
How long it lives
Event data is written to Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine and queried only for aggregate counts. The service retains it for approximately three months on a rolling basis. Research reports may retain summary counts; the site does not create per-person profiles.
