You Assumed

About the method

You assumed this was just a puzzle site.

A puzzle can surprise you and disappear. A Reality Pattern has to survive inspection, rerunning, citation, and use outside the page.

The seven-part contract

  1. A real question people answer with a reasonable default model.
  2. A prior verdict made before the answer can rewrite the memory.
  3. A single-variable interaction that can be rerun.
  4. A verifiable model with an explicit scope and boundary.
  5. Authoritative sources tied to the exact claim they support.
  6. A portable rule and examples that work beyond the page.
  7. Personal feedback about the judgment, without scoring the person.

One page, two ways through the same fact

Experience Path protects the verdict: judgment, reveal, rebuilt model, rerun, evidence. Reference Path protects the meeting: claim, scope, demonstration, evidence, rule. The URL and fact stay together; only the reading order changes.

Editorial and publishing principles

You Assumed publishes independently under one reviewable Claim Contract per experience. Search demand can determine which qualified Pattern is produced next, but it cannot weaken the source, mechanism, scope, or correction requirements.

What we do not publish

No gotchas created by hidden rules. No interaction that merely plays a prepared answer. No claim stronger than its source. No page whose surprise depends on removing the qualifier that makes the statement true.

Check our work

Every page names its mechanism, limitations and sources. If a substantive claim changes, it belongs permanently on the corrections log. To report an error, email hello@youassumed.com with the page URL and a source or reproducible case.
